Rooftop Portrait Session with Lohelani

I feel like during this photo shoot, I pushed myself to shoot an environment that wasn’t what I was used to, outfit was different from how I have clients dress up, and added a stool into the mix because why not?!

This portrait session ended up being the most fun thing I’ve done in awhile because it put me in a different creative mode from what I am used to shooting - it really got my creative juices flowing! I won’t be including any of these photos into my portfolio but I am willing to share it in a blog post because the pics came out amazing and this was such a fun creative shoot!

I didn’t even shoot this on my own camera guys! This portrait session was mainly for me to test out Lohelani’s camera set up (Canon R6 and Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 lens) to see whether or not I should invest in new camera gear. I have to say, I was not disappointed and using the mirrorless Canon R6 felt super natural to me, just as if I were using my current camera (yes, I am a Canon user!)
